 Saginaw River
Fished amongst the masses this morning down in Saginaw. River was open in spots all the way down towards the Z bridge, seen some boats down through hawg alley, near the airport and even seen one boat in front of the Boys/Girls Club this morning. The craziest thing was when I seen some guys ice fishing tonight at Cass Ave launch. Holy Shit!!! Kept one 17" and had about four or five hits. Fished from the Y down through Hooters. Only seen three boats catching fish. Fished from 11-2. Should be open in Bay City pretty soon.

 Re: Saginaw River
I don't know about Cass but I seen a few guys launching from Vets today. There were a lot of shore fisherman. I caught my couple. Just watch for the ice bergs.

 Re: Saginaw River
Didn't have time to get the boat out last night so I took my son down to DPW/Bay City Electric. Water had a pretty good flow to it and it was gettin' dirty. Second to last cast, I told my son to reel the jigs in we're pitchin' and he thought he got snagged. Took over the rod and it wasn't snagged up. Battled the fish for a few minutes and it ended up spittin' the hook. Never seen the fish, but it sure was a nice one.
Guys down river from me landed a couple. Seen a lot of boats too. Will be out all weekend. Hopefully this rain doesn't come around...
